Europe is well known for its food and with good reason. While the diets of the various European countries are vastly different, each has a fondness for good food and wine and many gourmet meals are straight from the continent. Here we will look at European banquets in different European countries; how they differ and what to expect. One thing you can be sure of – European banquets will not leave you wanting.
European banquets in England: In England you can expect a meal slightly different from other European banquets. Here the food you’ll be enjoying developed on an island separate from the main continent, and due to England’s one-time acquisition of the US the food is quite similar to what you might enjoy in America. European banquets in England are mostly made up of ‘pub food’ (‘pub grub’ as it’s known locally) and this reflects their lifestyle to a large degree. An English European banquet then might include: a roast dinner, pie and chips (chips being fat fries in England), battered fish and chips, cottage pie (not actually a pie…) and that great among European banquets – the full English breakfast.
France: France are well known for their enjoyment of the finer things in life and their European banquets are no different, being made up of smaller morsels of gourmet food that are designed to be savoured. European banquets in France will consist of lots of sauces, garlic, baguettes and cheese. European banquets in France would also not be complete without the requisite frog’s legs, snails and mussels. To top of European banquets in France you have the wine which is the best in the world. Did you know that champagne is merely wine from the Champagne region of France?
Italy: European banquets in Italy have to be some of the most popular in the world and almost everyone is familiar with them as a result. Italian European banquets consist of largely pasta with cheeses, tomato and garlic flavouring and is exemplified in meals such as bolognaise, lasagne and carbonara. European banquets in Italy will also of course benefit from the inclusion of pizzas – one of the most popular snacks around the world today.
Poland: Poland is rarely thought of for its European banquets, but provides many delicious meals nonetheless. Being a cool climate, Poland’s European banquets are focussed on keeping you warm, but are also based very much around the limited supplies available during WW2 resulting in a lot of stews and soups and a heavy reliance of cabbage. European banquets in Poland should include golumpki, goulash and carbanossi. Polish European banquets also feature large amounts of some of the best tasting vodka you’re likely ever to try.
Of course this is only a small selection of European banquets, and there are many other countries in Europe that have equally great palettes.

The european banquets are delicious. But I don’t agree with those saying that the english banquet is tasty. It’s not. I see it as one of the lowest quality european banquets. It’s like eating fast-food.
But as I said, in general, european banquets are to recommend.
The italians knew how to make their european banquets popular. Their pastas are great. Mozarella is also extremely popular, thanks to them.
Usually, European banquets combine the most tasty food items. That is the reason why we love them.
I just commented on the article about the lifestyle in europe. I see the european banquets another good reason why people like living in europe. The european banquets are delicious and there’s no person who can’t choose at least 1 or 2 european banquets as their favorite.
I can’t choose a single favorite from the european banquets. I like all of them, hihi
hello, readers.
does any of you know any good italian place to have some european banquets? I want to eat non-italian food, though. european banquets are great but we should have more places to serve them. it’s a good business idea to start a european banquets restaurant.
my favorite among european banquets is the one from france. italy is also popular among european banquets providers. i don’t like poland at all, though. their european banquets don’t seem that tasty. maybe it’s just me.
These banquets sound amazing. I would love to feast on the French one. Cheese, baguettes, sauces, and garlic. What a paradise. And the Italian Pasta one sounds divine as well.
Mmm, European banquets are so beautiful. Europeans have such great tastes.
They know how to organize, how to arrange and, of course, what food to serve.
They are very elegant regarding these European banquets, and always want to have the most beautiful ones. They are trying that everything to be perfect and so it is.
European banquets from Italy are, indeed, the most popular. I’ve participated at 3 of this kind of European banquets. I could say that Italians know how to eat. Their pasta is so delicious. Like you said with plenty of cheese and tomatoes their dishes are yammmy.
Fine, European banquets from Italy don’t consist just from pasta. You forgot to say about their amazing pizza. Even if pizza was a dish for poor people, now it’s a dish loved by almost everyone.
European banquets from Italy, in my opinion are the most rich regarding the served food. Not to say about how delicious is that food.
I haven’t been to any European banquets in Poland so far. I don’t think they are very elegant. Eating soup and drink vodka isn’t so nice.
I don’t think I would like Polish European banquets. I don’t like cold weather and neither cabbage.
In my opinion Romania is the most skillful regarding European banquets. They have their own style of preparing their food. And they serve plenty of delicious food.
Even if they are not so elegant you will always have fun at their European banquets. If you visit Romania, try to do everything and you’ll realize that it’s a beautiful country.
I visited Poland last year with a good friend. The banquet that we had was delicious. I have never tasted such good goulash in my life. Amazing that I want to go back to get another big bowl of that delicious food.
I have never participated at any European banquets. I’ve seen them just in movies. European banquets are splendid ‘parties’,if I could say so. I would like very much to participate at least at one banquet. And If I were to choose the destination, I would choose France.
I would like to participate at some European banquets in France. They are very elegant. The food served at these European banquets must be very delicious.
I’m curious to try frog’s legs or snails. I’ve never tasted something like this.
Iron, why the hell do you want to eat frog’s legs or snails? Snails are very disgusting. And frog’s legs???
European banquets from France aren’t so elegant if they serve these things. I’m sure I’ll never participate at any European banquets in France as long as they serve this food.
I would definitely like to participate at some European banquets in Italy. I’m in love with the food served in this country. Italian cuisine is my favorite. I would eat pizza continuously. Other European banquets aren’t so attractive to me.
I’ve been to 3 European banquets in England. They were quite different one from each other. I loved the atmosphere there. I also liked the served food even if these European banquets are made up of `pub food`. This, indeed, reflects their lifestyle to a large degree.
European banquets aren’t my favorite. I have never participated to any European banquets…I think.
I like food, I like to party but I don’t think I would feel good at a banquet.
If I am forced to go there, I will go only because of the food. There is served only good food, isn’t it?
One of my favorite European banquets I’ve had was in France. Like other people said, European banquets from France are very elegant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. It was a luxury banquet. I will never forget how beautiful it was.
I don’t think I would like European banquets from France. I don’t like to be very formal. I don’t like also to be elegant.
I think I would like more European banquets from Italy. Pizza and pastas are my favorite food.
European banquets in Poland don’t sound good at all. I don’t like cold weather. I like more the tropical areas. And the food … cabbage and soups aren’t at all my favorite. These European banquets aren’t on my taste.
Have you ever been at any European banquets in Greece? I heard that they are very nice. The food served at their European banquets is delicious. The atmosphere also is very beautiful. They really know how to feel good.
