European Film festivals are very interesting to watch. But still, we can’t say that european filmakers are better than the american ones. Even if we say that europe has good movies.

One of the most important european film festivals is Cannes. And in my opinion, the movies awarded there are better than the ones that get the oscar. So I must say I like european movies more.

I love european film festivals and european filmmakers. This year, DAS WEISSE BAND (THE WHITE RIBBON) took the Palme d’Or.

European movies are just great, imho.

European film festivals can’t be better than american ones. Especially because hollywood is a movie industry. USA makes LOTS of films.

The reason why I watch european film festivals is because they offer something unique. European film makers are different than the american ones, for instance. So it’s good to see diversity :)

Not better or worse than American, but definitely different. Here’s some info about the Perugia Film Festival, a great festival right near Tuscany!
Stratus Media Group just bought the rights and will do a great job of drawing talent and making into a profitable and beautiful celebration of film!

I have heard so much about the Cannes film festival. I can imagine how big of a deal it would be. I have never heard of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival before. But it sounds to be pretty amazing.

I feel that European film festivals are very important. They are a big deal and I have heard much about The Cannes film festival. They seem to be very popular in Europe. I would say if you are nominated for one of these it would be a great honor.
