European Lifestyle

There are many reasons to visit a country – the food, the scenery, the sites and the weather. While you’re there though, one of the things that can strike you the most is the lifestyle, and if the place has a great vibe such as the European lifestyle then this can really add to a holiday and what helps make you feel free and relaxed. Furthermore it can be very interesting learning how different countries live their lives and how the European lifestyle differs from your own.

Of course being a large continent, the European lifestyle varies depending on which country you’re in. The European lifestyle in the South of France differs greatly for example to the European lifestyle thought of in England. As a rule though there is a general European lifestyle that most people think of when they think about the continent.

This ‘typical’ European lifestyle is a lifestyle that’s highly laid back, doesn’t work to hard and enjoys the finer things in life. Perhaps the seminal area for this is the South of France which exemplifies the European lifestyle to a T. Here the weather is warm, and those who live there tend to make the most of it by enjoying sitting outside in the evenings, taking siestas, and generally not over exerting themselves in the heat. At the same time a big part of European lifestyle here is based around the enjoyment of fine food and drink, and vineyards play a large role in the lifestyle. Someone from the South of France will likely have great taste and enjoy drinking wine in fancy bars by the sea while the sun comes up, enjoying this slower paced existence by more fully enjoying moments and tastes. The licensing laws then support this European lifestyle by allowing residents to sit out in the sun drinking throughout the day and late at night when they’re not at work, which seems to combat and negate the binge-drinking culture of many other countries. And all this relaxation and enjoyment creates a very friendly and playful attitude that’s a joy for tourists.

Countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece are then just as laid back in their European lifestyle, enjoying good music and good food and charming quaint architecture. In Greece you can just as easily enjoy Calamari in a little back street restaurant in the sun while watching cats clamber around on the cobbles. While not all of mainland Europe enjoys such a climate, a similar European lifestyle tends to prevail even where it’s cooler in Germany, Poland or Holland. In Germany they too have a playful outlook on life and charming thatched houses and other traditions, while even Poland – known for their hard grafting – have a fairly relaxed attitude the rest of the time and a fondness for warming foods and vodka. And then there’s Holland which is famous for its laid back European attitude.

The european lifestyle is extremely interesting. It is varied and comfortable. The european lifestyle is liked by the majority of tourists.
However, I heard some people saying the european lifestyle is disgusting. I don’t get it.

The european lifestyle is popular among tourists. Many of us choose the european lifestyle because europeans balance the work with the fun. Compared to the americans, which are kinda workaholics. The european lifestyle is the best lifestyle.

I enjoy the european lifestyle. I like it most because of the temperate climate. People also make the european lifestyle better. They are more friendly here. In US, people are more cold blooded :D
This is why we like the european lifestyle

in my opinion, the best european lifestyle you can have is in germany. first of all, you have many work places there, which is important for the european lifestyle. secondly, salaries are high. and another extremely important reason is the fact that there are many clubs and bars, so that you can really say the european lifestyle is great. xD

Unfortunately, the european lifestyle is starting to look like the american one. Almost all the countries in the world are copying the americans. And that’s not good at all. We should be more original about our european lifestyle. Stop being alike others.

I love the European lifestyle. In fact, I love it so much, that I plan on living there someday.

Ten years ago when I was in Germany the lifestyle did seem very laid back. I was amazed at how different they lived than I was living in the states. Their lives did not seem as complicated as mine in the US. Nor did them seem to be as stresses out as Americans are.

We all need a European Lifestyle. Imagine not working too hard ( which many of us do), and taking the time to enjoy the finer things in life. That is what life should be about. If life was laid back I do think that it would be a better place.

I think that every country should develop Europe’s lifestyle. If one can take the finer things in life and enjoy them, that is great. Relaxing after a hard days work instead of putting in more hours should be how everyone lives. But I am afraid that it will take some time for the US to get one board with this one.

I like the way these Europeans think. Not working too hard and having a laid back lifestyle. That is what life is all about. I like the idea of sitting outside at night enjoying the night air. Sounds like the perfect lifestyle to me.

European lifestyle differs from a country to another. Every country has its own style of living.
There are a lot of factors that contribute to this difference. For example the climate or the relief. Think how people from a country with worm climate and how the ones from a cold one live. Regarding European lifestyle, it is normal to exist differences between countries.

Because of that multitude of cultures European lifestyle is so different from a country to another.
Also European lifestyle differs from Asiatic lifestyle or African one. We all know that Africans fight to stay alive from a day to another. Most of them even don’t have drinking water source close.
Compare to this lifestyle, European lifestyle in my opinion could be considered a luxury.

It is my belief that if you have a laid back lifestyle then you are healthier. I think that many Americans could benefit from learning a thing or two from Europeans. I know I would love to not have the hustle and bustle that I do here. Maybe I should concentrate on that and work to live an European lifestyle.

I would like to experience European lifestyle from every country.
Traveling is my biggest hobby. I would like to stay about 1 year in a country them to move on to another. This way I could experience every country’s European lifestyle.
So far I’ve only visited Spain and Portugal, but I have a lot of time forward.

To see how the European lifestyle of a country differs from your own firstly you have to visit that country. I’m not aware about different kinds of European lifestyle. I want to experience different styles of living. I am convinced that every country has its own style of living. Every country it’s unique and that makes the living to be different.

Maybe this world would be a better place if we followed the European lifestyle. Did anyone think of that? I mean if they have a laid back lifestyle they are probably healthier. And I like the fact that they do not work too hard.

European lifestyle is really good. I am very much impressed with the carefree attitude of Europeans.

  19. C.M   November 10, 2011 8:56 pm

Sure the European life style seems great. Except the dream is over now. Just look at what has happened in Greece and Italy.

  20. DB   July 22, 2012 10:42 am

The dream is not over. it is not a dream but the lifestyle in a reality. Sure Greece and Spain have problems but Northern Europe does not.

Certainly the US model or work until you drop and 15 trillion in debt is not the right model
