European Motorcycles

Man has always been attracted by the notions of speed and power from the earlier centuries. For years, people in different continents have struggled hard to come up with new inventions and new machines that would help man to travel distances in short period of time and that is how machines like cars and motorcycles have come into existence. Though cars are still expensive, motorcycles have been the most affordable form of motorized transport. This two-wheeled motor vehicle is popular in every part of the globe and every country and continent has their own breed of motorcycles. However, European motorcycles and American motorcycles are the two famous breed of motorcycles that are still very much in demand.

European motorcycles were the first motorcycles ever to hit the roads when Daimler-Maybach invented their first motorcycle in the world. Later on many changes were made to the design of European motorcycles to make it more user-friendly and to support the engine that had more power to it. Soon European manufacturers like DKW and NSU became the largest producers of European motorcycles and remained on top position till 1970s. Moto-Guzzi also entered the competition and changed the appearance of traditional motorcycle looks to a futuristic race model. This design was an immediate success and craze for European motorcycles were now becoming a global phenomenon.

Though earlier European motorcycles had more of a looks and less of engine power, today European bike manufacturers make sure that their motorcycles are safe and provide more power and speed to the rider. Also European motorcycles have to meet the European emission standards which are also known as Euro III standards. BMW, Ducati, Triumph, Vespa and Piaggo are some of the European motorcycles that are in demand till date because of the power, speed and technology they provide to the rider.

in my opinion, ducati make the best motorcycles. not only they are between european motorcycles leaders. they have also won a lot of moto gp races. however, they can’t compete with yamaha or honda.

bmw is also great between european motorcycles.

I am a fan of the european motorcycles. I once owned a Moto-Guzzi and I was very proud of it. After that I tried Vespa, another great motorcycle. But my favorite european motorcycles are made by BMW. I now own one.

Let’s be honest. We can’t compare the european motorcycles to the asian ones. Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki or Yamaha have no rival on the market. They make the best motorcycles in the world. USA is good at choppers.

So European motorcycles are ok, but not good enough.

asians make sportive motorcycles. the european motorcycles are more eco friendly. and, of course, cheaper. if you are a speed fan, go for an asian motorcycle. if you only want a bike, go for european motorcycles. you won’t be disappointed.

i don’t think the european motorcycles are so great. otherwise, europeans wouldn’t own so many hondas and toyotas. i have rarely seen any european motorcycles around the cities i live or travel in. or is it just me?

“i have rarely seen any european motorcycles around the cities i live or travel in. or is it just me?”

Ehhh … BMW anyone? I think they are among the most popular commuting motorcycles around here (being Germany).

when I was in Germany I do not recall seeing any motorcycles either. But then again I was not looking for them. So maybe there were. And Mavriche makes a great point. Apparently other motorcycles are bigger.

I love Vespas for some reason. I feel that when I think of a European motorcycle this is the first thing to cross into my head. I was able to have a ride on a Vespa when my host families son had one and gave me a ride on it. It was an exciting experience for sure.

I really like the futuristic models of European motorcycles. They just have a great look about them. I would be a proud owner of one. And I like the fact that they are providing more power and speed to the rider. I have one on my wish list!

I’m not a big fan of European motorcycles but there are some beautiful ones.
I like just European motorcycles which are very powerful and speedy. But I like just to look at them, not to own one.

For me, if i must choose, I would like to have a small motorcycle. Just for driving it in town, not too powerful. It is cheaper and I can I can move more easily in traffic, because it is smaller than a car.

I hadn’t known that European motorcycles were the first motorcycles in the world. Those men, Daimler and Maybach who invented the first motorcycle, should have been very smart. I read that their goal was to create small, high speed engines.
I thank to them because they create this. I have to European motorcycles and they are my beauties.

I’ve always wanted a machine like this.
European motorcycles are like little monsters on two wheels. I like speed very much and the only things that could give you that adrenaline when you are driving are these European motorcycles. But, I know very well power and speed are also dangerous. But, if there wasn’t that danger, neither adrenaline or fun.

There exist some very powerful European motorcycles which I like.
Ducati is one of my favorite brands. It is impossible to be ignored.
I even saw a video, where a Ducati raced with a Lamborghini. And guess what, Ducati won.
To me powerful European motorcycles like this one are something amazing.

I don’t like European motorcycles or other machines like these. In my opinion they are very dangerous. There are so many people who died because of speed. When you drive a machine like this I guess you don’t realize in what danger you are.
European motorcycles are, indeed, beautiful machines but very dangerous because of the speed they can reach. I don’t like speed at all.

I’m a big fun of European motorcycles. Unfortunately I don’t have one of them. It’s one of my dreams to buy the most powerful from all European motorcycles. I love speed and danger. Now I’m in process for saving money.

I think that European motorcycles are very nice. While I stayed in Europe for a month I had the chance several evenings to ride one with a friend. It is an amazing feeling. The bike I was on was very powerful and just had a great look to it. I could not tell you what it was but it was great.
