Didn’t know that only those countries were covered by the european union visa. But it’s not that bad to pay for this shengen visa. And it’s not that difficult to get one.

Can Anyone tell the difference between this European Visa and a Tourist Visa and from where to apply for it? I mean, It has to be applied from the Embassy of the first Country the person is visiting or can it be applied from any other European Country Embassy?

a EU-visa is ONLY for foreigners ( non EU-citizens) whose countries do not belong to the visa waiver program:) Most foreigners do not need a visa when visiting the EU, that includes USA, AUS, NZ and CND and many other countries.
That visa allows you to travel across the entire EU except Ireland, the UK. The new EU states will soon implement the agreement too. What does it mean for US Europeans? It means that the EU is now our natural country, just like when you travel across the 50 US states or across OZ. For Foreigners, that means that they will go through customs and immigration ONLY when entering the EU….then, there is no border any more….from the North Pole to North Africa and from the Atlnatic to Russia…have fun traveling in Europe!
i have been travelling in the EU from USA since oct 2010. i’ll be going to turkey for a few weeks this MAY. will i have trouble leaving,or coming back into the EU? are there any travel restrictions, time limits, etc, as far as coming and going? will probably head home in august for next year at school. thank you
