The finest time to visit Europe is during the summer and spring seasons. This is the time when this beautiful continent is in its full bloom. You will get to experience heaven on earth. How can you get to Europe? What are the visa requirements? What is a European Union Visa? What are its benefits? You will get answers to all your queries in some time. A European Union Visa can ease your Europe trip to a great extent. This unified visa comes under the Schengen acquits. All the members of the European Union are still not ready to participate in this policy including Ireland and England. These countries have separate immigration and visa policies of their own.
The Schengen Visa is available for these countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg and Sweden. Out of these only Iceland and Norway are not a part of the European Union nations. Therefore, these countries are not included in the European Union visa. With a Schengen visa you can easily travel inter nation, in Europe. But only the listed countries are allowed. It simplifies your travel by providing you domestic fairs for inter nation travel. This can reduce your costs by a huge amount. Long back, separate visas were needed to travel in all these countries individually. Therefore a great network of border posts was prevalent all across the continent. This caused disputes regarding traffic and trade. It also accounted for delays and increase in business costs. With this European Union visa all the border posts across the continent have been suspended resulting in a great relief both for people and the governments. This has also lead to managed traffic and lesser interruption in trade, business and commerce.
Applying for this visa is simple. If you are neither a citizen of an E.U (European Union) nation nor the European Economic Area (commonly known as the EEA), then you will have to apply for this visa. This visa needs to be applied for in the embassy or the Consulate of the European Union nation. This European Union visa will prevent you from any hindrance from traveling or trading across the European Union counties. Even when you have one visa, it will be advisable to carry all your passport details carefully. Many countries still have their individual custom control at the borders. Sweden and Finland can be listed among these nations.

Didn’t know that only those countries were covered by the european union visa. But it’s not that bad to pay for this shengen visa. And it’s not that difficult to get one.
The european union visa is another way the leaders get rich. And although the schengen visa is not that big a deal for tourists, that’s how richmen get richer!
Larry, the eruopean union visa is a way the EU gets money. Not only the leaders. So europe visa is useful for us, living here, too.
The european visa is a way better visa. Comparing to the times when you had to buy a visa for each country, the europe visa buys you some time.
I think the european union visa is a very good idea.
This european union visa is not that expensive. Almost everyone can afford the europe visa.
By the way, what’s a schengen visa?
Can Anyone tell the difference between this European Visa and a Tourist Visa and from where to apply for it? I mean, It has to be applied from the Embassy of the first Country the person is visiting or can it be applied from any other European Country Embassy?
More than 15 countries have implemented the common border control and visa provisions and part of Schengen Visa agreement. The information on this website must be reviewed for correction.
Thanks.

a EU-visa is ONLY for foreigners ( non EU-citizens) whose countries do not belong to the visa waiver program:) Most foreigners do not need a visa when visiting the EU, that includes USA, AUS, NZ and CND and many other countries.
That visa allows you to travel across the entire EU except Ireland, the UK. The new EU states will soon implement the agreement too. What does it mean for US Europeans? It means that the EU is now our natural country, just like when you travel across the 50 US states or across OZ. For Foreigners, that means that they will go through customs and immigration ONLY when entering the EU….then, there is no border any more….from the North Pole to North Africa and from the Atlnatic to Russia…have fun traveling in Europe!
i have been travelling in the EU from USA since oct 2010. i’ll be going to turkey for a few weeks this MAY. will i have trouble leaving,or coming back into the EU? are there any travel restrictions, time limits, etc, as far as coming and going? will probably head home in august for next year at school. thank you
