If one travels to Germany for a vacation, I highly suggest staying at a small bed and breakfast. This is such a great way to see how a Germany family lives. You just can not get that feeling from a hotel.
I do suggest having it all planned out as well especially if you have never been the Europe before. Your trip may become quickly ruined if you do not have it all planned out.
Having a vacation all planned out is the best way to go. But for others who like to be spontanious, then a European Vacation may be for you. There is so much to do in Europe that you can take advantage of not really having a plan. How about stepping inside one of the beautiful churches or taking a drive to the Black Forest.
