Obviously a tourist will buy a phone after coming from another continent. It is much cheaper! European phones are also the best in the world. Nokia and Ericsson are just 2 of the best producers.

Yep, the european cell phones market is huge. And I heard good news. Nokia wants to cheapen their smartphones. This is definitely a good thing for all the european phones consumers.

Not only europe makes good phones. Beside the european cell phones, phone companies are also good and cheap. For example, Vodafone, T-mobile, Cosmote, Orange etc. They are cheap and offer good services.

Jeniffer- I have a Nokia and I love it. It has proved to be a great phone.
Many people may not realized how cheap European cell phones really are. I would have never guessed that I could get a phone cheaper over there than having to us my regular cell phone. But it does make sense. I can not see paying all the extra charges to my regular phone if I do not have to.

People want good service from a phone. With cheap rates. It is good that they offer this. Especially with the amount of tourism that Europe sees. I bet that they make decent money off people staying there for a while who do not want to use their regular cell phone to incur large charges.

I would have never thought just to get a phone for a trip to Europe. But it does make sense. If you have to pay roaming fees these are often so expensive. So I guess if you travel to Europe then you may be better off buying a phone for that purpose.
