I have seen this advertised and it is sort of big here in the states. My friend plays Webkinz online and has fun doing the trivia.
I think that if you are younger this is a great way to have a pet. Sure it is virtual but one still has to take care of it.
My friend has a ball playing with her webkinz. And she is in her 30′s. And I do agree with Karly’s thoughts on the whole virtual pet thing. If you can prove that you are able to take good care of a virtual pet, you may just work your way up to a real one!
I love some good customer service. I believe that is partly why the Webkinz is so successful. Who would not want to be able to call at 3 in the morning if they had nothing better to do? I think that by have a 24 hour customer service team they are doing a justice to their product. Go webkinz!
Webkinz are so addicting. My nieces got me into it. I at first thought it was a kids game. But you would be surprised at how many adults are into the game as well. While I have never had to contact the customer service, it is great that they are there for the customers 24/7.
I can see why Europe is in love with the Webkinz. If parents can enhance the educational value of this toy, then every child should have one. The children I am sure do not see it as a learning experience. But if you look at it, it really is. The children are able to learn so much from one, such as how to take care of an animal even though it is not really real.
I love Webkinz. I am a 15 year old girl who is addicted to playing it. I even got my younger 8 year old brother playing it. For him it is a good thing to teach him responsibility for caring for a pet, which we do not have. For me it is more about enjoyment. My Webkinz brings me a feeling of satisfaction and pride.
I just do not see what all the rage is about. To me, Webkinz are not really all that fun. I thought after everyone tried it out and raged over it that I would see what the big fuss is. I still do not know why everyone made a big deal over it. Could someone please explain more why they think Webkinz are so great?
I guess I just do not understand Webkinz fully. What is the point in having one? I do not think that it sounds like much fun. But that is my opinion. It seems that there are many on here that love Webkinz and can see why they are a great site to visit.
My brother and sister each have a webkinz. They love them. I feel that since they do not have an actual pet, they are caring for a pretty close alternative. The love to get online and answer the trivia questions. Plus it is better in my opinion than playing video games.
I work at a preschool and one of my preschoolers brought in a webkinz today. I had never seen one. I was able to play and see what it is all about and talk about fun. I can see why kids love it so much as it was very entertaining.

My daughter is hooked on these little things. Personally at first I thought that Webkinz were silly. But they really are not. They have shown some responsibility to Leah my daughter. So I would recommend this to anyone really.
Webkinz in my eyes are really silly Rosey C. I mean to me it is just a waste of time. I could not imagine getting hooked on them. But I know that many people are hooked on them and there have been spinoffs of them as well.
I just do not understand what the big deal is about. I do not think that Webkinz are cute. Nor would I promote my child playing with them. To me it seems silly.

Webkinz are very cute. I must admit that even though I am 18 I still like them. They are very addicting. IF you have not gotten one, then do not knock it!
