Czech RepublicThe Czech Republic, Europe is also known as Czheshia. There are many more fact about the Czech Republic that are unknown to the world, primarily because of the lack of awareness and knowledge about this less known part of Europe. Surrounded by land on all sides of its borders, the Czech Republic is composed of interesting and historic parts such as Bohemia and Moravia. Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic. It is also the largest city here. Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk was the first President of the Republic of Czechoslovakia. In 1989, under the effect of the velvet Revolution, Czechoslovakia treaded towards the path of democracy and two separate countries came into existence- Czech Republic and Slovakia. Since that time, the Czech Republic has undergone a sea of economic changes and has seen a great degree market reform. Václav Havel was the first President of the Czech Republic. Czech weather is quite different from the tropical parts of Europe and is continental type, having hot summers and cool, cloudy and snowy winters. Due to its landlocked location, there is a pronounced difference between the summer and winter temperatures at Czech Republic. |
