Lithuania is a said to be small country, located on the Eastern Europe plain. But not many people know that it is actually twice the size of Belgium. It is the largest of the three Baltic countries and slightly smaller than Ireland. It has a beautiful maritime climate that is very pleasing throughout the year. The country actually has a 90 kilometer long coastal line which bounds the country with an ecstatic ocean line. It is a budding country with increasing tourism every year, especially during the summer season. The winters are moderate. Lithuania is popular for its food, culture, night life and landscape. Baltic cuisine is inclined to be simple and brawny. It is rich with potatoes in a range of variety featured significantly. Other ingredients that are prominent in this cuisine are the beetroot soup, sorrel soup, the Lithuanian edition of borscht. Not just this, some of the very popular meat dishes, including suktiniai i.e. beef olives with a mushroom and onion filling, are amongst the area of expertise. Lithuania or as the natives say “Lietuva” is a warm place. Lithuania hospitality is up to the mark. People love their country and love to call themselves Lithuanians rather than members of the Baltic Sea. There is proper law and order in the country and everybody abides seriously. The general foundation of Lithuania has been fashioned for thousands of years by the country’s practices, surroundings, traditions and ethnicity.
