European Beaches

Many people think of Holidays to Europe as city breaks or as a place to go and view historical monuments and sights. However there are plenty of European beaches that mean Europe is just as good for visiting if you want to kick back with a cocktail or play some beach volleyball. At the same time these European beaches mean that you can head to Europe for a range of other purposes such as water sports or rock climbing. Whether your holiday is based around them or not, you should take the opportunity to visit some of the great European beaches while you are on the continent. Here we will look at some of the top European Beaches.

Sunny Beach: Sunny Beach is the name of a whole area rather than just one beach and has several great European beaches on offer. Sunny Beach is located in Bulgaria and this also makes it one of the most affordable European beaches to visit. Allegedly this is one of the up and coming European beaches and is a hot property at the moment as a result.

Bournemouth/Pool: Bournemouth offers some of the best European beaches in England, and is a huge tourist spot as a result. Bournemouth is in the South of England and has it’s own mini-climate as a result which means you don’t have to endure the famous English weather while you’re there (though it’s not quite as sunny as some of the other European beaches). The beaches are white and sandy with lively entertainment all around, but if you want something more picturesque then visit Sandbanks in Pool nearby. It’s not for no reason that these are some of the most expensive properties per square metre in the world.

Skiathos: Skiathos is an island in Greece and so is of course surrounded by European beaches. The island is very quaint and filled with cobbled streets and little places to get toasties and drinks. At the same time the European beaches are also great fun and very warm to sit and relax in. For a great experience try taking a snorkel and a mask and spotting some of the sea life.

Tekirova: Tekirova is home to some amazingly scenic European beaches, again with warm waters and some stunning mountains and lush greenery in the backdrop. Tekirova is a perfect place to come on an all-inclusive holiday and sample the European beaches that way and enjoy a completely relaxing gettaway.

Praia da Rocha: Praia da Rocha is the nicer side of the Algarve in Portugal. There are lots of other entertaining things to see and do in Portugal and this is a hot tourist spot to find some of the best European beaches.

This is just a very small selection of European beaches and there are many more that stand out for a whole range of reasons. When you have visions of sitting on a sandy beach sipping cocktails then, consider some European beaches too.
